EXPLORE HOLE

EXPLORE HOLE
Fullscreen

EXPLORE HOLE belongs to the black-hole-navigation genre that Hole.io made famous, scaled down to a single-player puzzle format. You guide a hole across a 3D field, and anything smaller than your current size gets swallowed and adds to your growth — cubes, spheres, whatever’s scattered across the level. The bigger the hole gets, the more it can consume, which creates the genre’s signature snowball feeling: slow and cautious at the start, increasingly unstoppable by the end of a level.

What keeps a level from being pure consumption is the obstacle layer — colored hazards that don’t behave like the collectibles, and running your hole into the wrong one costs you rather than growing you. That forces some actual route-planning even though the core input is just steering, since the fastest path through a level is rarely the safest one.

It’s a relaxing, low-pressure format despite the physical premise sounding chaotic — there’s no timer pushing you, just a field to clear and a size to grow, one careful pass at a time.

How to play EXPLORE HOLE

Move your hole around the field to consume cubes, spheres, and other objects smaller than your current size, growing larger with each one. Avoid the colored obstacles scattered through the level, since running into them works against you rather than helping you grow. Clear everything collectible to complete the level.

Controls

  • Mouse / touch drag Steer the hole (unconfirmed for this specific title)

Tips

  • Start with the smallest objects near your spawn point before attempting anything close to your current size
  • Plan a route around colored obstacles rather than trying to react to them at the last second
  • A bigger hole moves through a level faster, so early caution pays off later in the level
  • Don't rush toward the biggest visible object early; grow into it rather than attempting it before you're ready
