Idle Craft 3D opens with a meteorite shower flattening a village, and the whole game is the rebuild. You clear rubble, dig out buried houses, and gradually turn a crater back into somewhere people live.
The twist that separates it from a straight clicker is the workers. You hire labourers to dig and build for you, which is standard idle-game automation, except these ones get tired and fall asleep on the job. When that happens you summon a village elder to wake them up. It’s a small mechanic but it gives the game a reason to keep checking back rather than leaving it entirely alone, and there’s something quietly funny about a game whose central loop is supervising exhausted workers.
Coins come from digging, and they go into upgrading your own abilities and hiring more hands. As the village recovers you unlock more to build, and the progression opens outward from a single ruined house to a working settlement.
Despite the name, there’s nothing blocky or Minecraft-adjacent about it. It’s a village management idle game with colourful 3D graphics and a wizard who shows up to give advice.
How to play Idle Craft 3D
Click to dig and clear the rubble left by the meteorite shower. Earn coins from digging and spend them on upgrading your abilities and hiring workers who labour automatically. When workers fall asleep from exhaustion, summon a village elder to wake them. Keep rebuilding to unlock new structures and expand the village.
Controls
- Left mouse button Dig, activate workers, summon elders
- Tap Same controls on mobile
Tips
- Hire workers as early as you can afford them, since automated digging outpaces your own clicking quickly
- Check back regularly to wake sleeping workers, because idle progress stops while they're asleep
- Upgrade your own digging ability before expanding too wide; it raises the rate everything else builds on
- The game keeps earning while you're away, so a break and a return beats a long grinding session
