Babel Tower is an idle game by Airapport, and it’s built around one satisfying loop: stone comes out of the quarry, gets processed into bricks, and bricks go up the tower. Your job is to keep that chain moving — first by clicking and holding on each station yourself, then by upgrading stations until they run on their own and you’re just the manager watching a construction site tick along.
Every completed floor unlocks something new in the chain. A crane to lift bricks higher. A forest and lumbermill for wood. Eventually pumps, transporters, even an elephant. The market lets you sell surplus materials for upgrade money, and deciding what to sell versus what to build with is most of the actual strategy.
Like every idle game worth playing, there’s a prestige system: restart your tower and you earn Golden Bricks, which permanently boost your click power, production, and market prices. The first restart feels painful. It’s also the moment the game properly opens up.
How to play Babel Tower
Click and hold on stations to mine stone, move it to processing, and speed up brick production. Sell surplus materials at the Market for upgrade money. Upgrade a station far enough and it automates. Each finished floor unlocks new machines, and restarting earns Golden Bricks that make every future run faster.
Controls
- Click / tap Work a station
- Click and hold Work it faster
- Market button Sell resources for coins
- Upgrade arrows Improve and automate stations
Tips
- Upgrade the quarry and brick producer first — everything downstream starves without them
- Sell only surplus; selling materials your builder needs stalls the tower
- Don't fight the urge to prestige — Golden Bricks make the next run dramatically faster
- The game keeps producing while you're away, so check back after a break for a pile of resources
- If a station sits idle, the bottleneck is one step earlier in the chain — fix that instead
