Snake Chain Escape tangles a board full of colorful snakes together and asks you to untangle them one at a time, in the right order. Each snake is a chain of connected circles with a black circle marking its head — that head tells you which direction the snake will slide if you tap it, and reading that correctly before committing is the entire game.
Only snakes with a genuinely clear path can be removed at any given moment; tapping one that’s still blocked costs you one of your limited lives, so guessing is expensive. Removing a snake often frees up space for others that were previously stuck, which means the real skill isn’t spotting one removable snake — it’s sequencing several correctly so that clearing the first opens the second, and so on until the board’s clear.
A Hint option exists for exactly the moments you’re stuck reading the tangle, revealing one removable snake without giving away the whole solution. It’s a patient, think-before-you-tap kind of puzzle rather than anything reflex-based.
